Rabbi Avrohom Richter, Chabad of Howard Beach, says: Chabad of Howard Beach hosted Simcha (Sam) Krause for “One Shabbat One World.” Simcha delivered an interesting and inspiring personal story. The members of my community were clearly moved by his life experiences. It was truly a delightful evening.
Rabbi Mendy Kasowitz, Chabad of Essex County says: I recently invited Simcha (Sam) Krause to speak at my Chabad House in West Orange, NJ. He is a heart transplant survivor. The best thing about this guy is that he is very funny. People expect a morbid or sad, scary story when they hear “heart transplant survivor,” but he is actually hilarious, with a great story to share. Truthfully, he had us rolling on the floor laughing.
Rabbi Boruch Klar, the Lubavitch Center of Essex County says: Simcha (Sam) Krause gave a very touching, sensitive and humorous talk at our Shabbaton. He had people in tears and in stitches. He is a wonderful and very entertaining speaker. A joy to have. We will certainly have him back again.
Rabbi Yitzchak Sebbag, Chabad of Passaic-Clifton, says: I don’t know how he managed to make such a lasting impression on twenty 13-year-old boys, but Simcha had them telling his story and raving about him for weeks afterwards.
